What is your problem? May be we can help.

Any good mechanic should be a good MGB mechanic. It hardly gets any simpler than the MGB!

    Anybody knows a good mechanic?

Problem is that the car drives well until it reaches normal working temperature.

Then she starts cutting out and eventually stops.

    I have so far changed:

Coil, plugs, leads, radiator, airfilter, fuel pump, electronic distributor. Did the timing and its spot on.

My next thing is a new heatshield as I think the fuel might be evaporating but I'm not sure.

I just don't have the time to be fixing this hence I'm looking for a mechanic.

Have you checked your air filters and the general operation of the carburettors?

Blocked air filters, by dust or oil, mean you are effectively running on full choke. When car warms up it can't cope, will run poorly and stop. Won't restart until it has cooled down. Same if the barrels in the carbs are sticking.
Smokey exhaust, lots of carbon in tailpipe and also on plugs are the most obvious signs to look for.

Basic check is simple enough, and you should be able to get both running. Balancing needs a little more expertise, but its not magic. Google SU carburettors and you will get lots of straightforward advice.

Does sound like a fuel issue because you've changed most of the ignition components. I second the suggestion to google for carb information.

You sure the coil is a good/correct one?
What rpm is it running at warm idle?
Can you keep the car running at high rpm when warm?
