Terrestrial reception?

Got sky multiroom in a few weeks ago and now I can get no ordinary reception on the tvs and can't send the sky signal to my sisters room so she can see it. All he did was switch the box downstairs and that was just a case of taking the wires out of the old box and putting them into new one

So I just can't figure out how the hell all terrestrial pics have been lost...Anyone have any idea?

Sounds typical of your average sky install. I come across this all the time.

Look at the conectins on the back of your new sky box. Check that the feed from your tv aerial goes into ' aerial in' .
Check that the other conection from your aerial socket (return lead) is plugged in to 'RF2' output.

If these are correct try swapping them around!
You may also have to retune the output of the new box to watch sky around the house.
See if any of the other tv's will display hte ch no or frequency from the tuning menu.

Press services , then 4, 0, 1 to access hidden menu on sky box.
    Select RF outputs.
Change to the ch no your other tvs are tuned to.
Change RF out power to on if you use magic eyes.

If all this fails call sky and insist someone calls to sort it out. Installler should have checked it.

    Is there some knack to
"Press services , then 4, 0, 1 to access hidden menu on sky box."

When I follow this sequence nothing happens - I have used this menu option in the past but for some reason I can no longer do it.

    Any ideas?

It's Services, 4, 0, 1, SELECT to get into the Installer Menu.
