Does anyone know how I could use my Windows Mobile 5 XDA IQ to make Skype calls on my wireless network at home?

Something like this would be class: http://www.ciceronetworks.com/products/cicerophone/

The phone can connect to the network via Wi Fi. Thats as far as I've got at this stage.

Just to update. I now have Skype working on my O2 XDA IQ. Works perfectly for Skypeout and Skypein.

Download the software from here: http://www.iskoot.com/

Will send a text message to your phone from where you can download iskoot

Should install automatically and then youre ready to go!

    Hi Tech,

I only installed it yeaterday. However I thought if the person was a Skype user and assuming they're online the call is free

200 views and 1 person replied, has anyone else used this ???

out of interest, iskoot can run fine over an edge connection so means that no longer have to have a wifi connection. in effect can make/receive skype calls and chat on the go using edge.

For info, tried this on my o2xda mini and works fine, however all incoming and outgoing calls are charged as normal call, in czech rep, as it roots everything to a local prague (2) number.
Look at your next phone bills.
