Just watching the news there now, I see President McAleese is over there on a trade visit or some such junket, just wondering does anyone know did we send any rugby coaches over to learn anything from them or at least try get some more players of better standard than Isaac Boss to declare...

<please note some of this maybe tonuge in cheek>

After their performance in the WC, maybe we should be sending some coaches over to them to help bring their game up to standard.

    Huh?
There is nothing in the news about McAleese being here *boogle*
Guess NZ'ers don't really care too much.

She's a fine ambassador for Irish timber products. I've yet to see a more wooden person.

Oh yes, she was in the news here OK, but she got about 60 seconds just before the sport and weather.

All I remember her saying was that little but important countries like Ireland and NZ need to maintain their voice on the World stage

We have our own woman 'leader' , Helen Clark. She is well past her use-by date.

Now - what the fooks this to do with Rugby?

    Not much.

Lads, if you actually want to discuss El Presidente's visit to NZ, we have a politics forum.

    :)
