    Guys,

Been working for a customer for over 2 months and had a lot of crazy issues.
Some of the guys were yelling on me with no particular reasons, making stupid jokes about anybody in the company and even insulting colleagues with "funck off" and other good stuffs like this.

So about one month ago after of the guy made a really bad joke about my wife, that he does not even know, I was going to punch the guy big time, but I contained myself because I would have been the one in troubles. But I told them, "guys I am done with you I am walking...". They ran after me on the car park, apologies and managed to get me back.

So everything was quiet alright for a little while until the last week where those crazy things started again and I was really close to crush the guy into the wall.

In the mean time I have learned those guys are on cocaine big time and I have witnessed a few things.

I spoke to the boss of the company about this but he didn't believed me, or maybe he is on it as well, I would not be surprised.

Anyway I was working as a freelance for their own customer and the last week after this altercation and instead of ending up in a German jail, I simply packed my stuff up told the customer I am off and came to Dublin.

Again they ran after me, called me a numerous amount of times and even started to threat me because I own their customer's intellectual property, which is in essence not true because they have not paid me in full regardnig the documents I was supposed to hand over. So this is still my intellectual property. The rest is between themself and their customer, so I do not care.

I left the site like this, with no notice whatsoever, I have no contract anyway, the boss never wanted to sign a contract.

I wanted to explain the situation to the customer because of other things as well, like they are renting Audi cars 3.0l, restaurant with like 10 beers in a night and billing the end customer back.
I also wanted to explain why there has been very little milestones achieved etc and explain the real reasons but I suppose this customer (Mine, not the end customer) would have sued me, so I just shutted my mouth.

This is a big relief anyway for me.

What are your thoughts guys? Would you have done the same or?

Despite the commo wisdom that you should normally put up with the problems and finish the contract, I'd have to say that this looks like the smart move. It sounds like it would have had a bad end one way or another so I'd say that as long as you get out with no serious legal costs or reputation damage you're doing well particularly given that it's a lot easier to hide a two month hole in a CV than a six month one.

    TA for feedback.
Well this is my company and I am the director.
Regarding reputation damage, yeah maybe, I am sure they put everything on my back when I left.
Do you guys think they might sue me, and if they do that might be a bit complicated anyway because of the circumstances?

No contract and foreign country? What exactly can they do?
Keep a record of what they did.

I walked from a contracted position in a foreign country seven years ago. It was the best thing I ever did. I had offered my resignation twice and the company wouldn't accept it so eventually, I just hopped on a plane and came home. They contacted me about breaking my contract and again asking me to come back, but I told them in no uncertain terms where to go.
