Which LNB do Sky use

    Folks,

    Do Sky use quad LNBs when you upgrade to Sky+? Im about to upgrade and want to use the original box in the bedroom so will need a quad.

    Yes you will be supplied with a Quad, as a second cable will be needed to run in to where you have your existing Sky box. If you are signing up to multiroom, then the installer will run another cable from the quad to the bedroom, however, if you are not taking multi-room, you could ask him to do it as a nixer for you.

    There is no longer a twin-output LNB to fit the Sky minidish. (One or two eBay sellers offer them but these are bodged LNBs designed to see a circular dish and *might* not perform too well in bad weather if you use an oval dish).
