no signal

    when changing stations on my sky box i receive the message no signal being received after a few seconds this disappears and the picture appears, this seems to happen intermittently , anyone any ideas?

    Possibly one of two things here, your LNB is on its way out or your digi box is devoloping a fault. How old is you digibox and what make is it?

    digibox is a grundig, i suppose its about 6 or 7 years old at least

    Then it's 3 years overdue for its power supply upgrade kit!

    If you turn it off at the wall socket and let it cool down, it will be ten times worse.
