hkc alarm problems

i have a new hkc alarm panel and last night even though the panel was not armei woke toa beeping from the key pad and the alarm light the red one was on and the message (DMC FCT) was on the key pad i entered the code and this cleared the problem ,has anyone ever seen this before :rolleyes:
