Sony Ericsson W580 problem

    Howdy,
    Got a Sony Ericsson W580 on my meteor upgrade.
    Have a little over a month but noticed the buttons seem to be cracked. Anyone else notice this? Heard it's a common problem with them and sony ericsson wil replace them with new reinforced ones. Anyone have any experience with this?

    cant understand why they would not have recalled any unsold phones from stores as they have known about this problem for quite some time and it would mean people are not left buying a faulty/sub-standard handset which will require repair probably within a few weeks of purchase

    Sorry for the 7 month late reply....

    I got a W580i in January and I've noticed that a few of the button on my phone seem to be cracked too. I can see light through the middle of a few of them.

    Bring it back to the shop you bought it in. Carphone warehouse will send your phone off for a refurb if you bought it off them. Free of charge.
