I was wondering what everyones opinion is for trying to get the best out of your battery. Just got a new laptop and I want to treat the battery properly from the start. I know plenty of people that have ruined their batteries from poor use. Your thoughts please?

Leaving the battery in when its fully charged is the main killer really.

what about letting the battery totally run down? I been told totally different stories by people about this. Some say that the first few times, you should let the battery run down totally. Some people say you should never let the batttery go under 10%. Whats peoples experiences been here?
