    Does anybody know where I could get some ethyl acetate, it's for making a killing jar for insects to be studied.

    Seems like an odd solvent to use for that, do you not usually use fromalin or formic acid solution or some such? You can get it in any chemistry lab, try lennox, it isn't particularly dangerous at least no more so than petrol etc., so try
