    Stumbled across this on utube.

    Aaaahhh the memories....:D

Loved this programme. It was BBC2(?) sometime at around 6pm. Anyone else fans of this?

I can't remember too much about it, love the intro! :D I think Bravo used to show it for a while a few years ago (don't think they do anymore).

Was a big fan of this. Saw in when it was first out in the late 1970s.

Was Japanese and dubbed into English. In Japan it was called Saiyukii.

Found a recent movie of this on netflix - kept comparing it to the original - really want to watch that old show again. Loved it.

Remember this as well. Think it was a Friday evening on BBC2. Such a strange show when you look back on it and a very strange colleciton of characters is I remember correctly, not sure it would have aged well but worth a look for the memories alone.

Yes your bang on with the 6pm start time. Channel 4 actually reshowed it about 8-9 years ago late at night. It had a big following with the stoners and drunks at that hour.:D I think they may have rerun it pretty recently too. AFAIK you can buy the DVD boxset online.

Well, the unexpected success of this series is fairly well known. I'd venture, bear with me please, that this was due to girls also liking it.

Yeah I loved Monkey...it was deadly. Think it was on on a Friday evening. I've heard there was an animated prog called 'Monkey Magic' on sometime later in the 90's that I don't remember.
