Sticky thread detailing author reading or literary events?

How about starting a sticky thread detailing author readings and literary events. I always seem to miss out on these events because they're obscurely advertised or I don't have time to read the papers. For example Michael Ondaatje gave a reading not too long ago and Jung Chang was at ucd. Mods maybe this is against boards policy?

Nope. not against policy but will have to be policed to ensure its not abused.

    good idea by the way.
