Go and see the castle on the hill. You get a great view of the miles and MILES of housing blocks, and to the left, in the distance, the gas works burning off with flames from the chimneys.

There is little to do and see there, except for pubbing/clubbing. Are you planning on spending several days there? I would think that you may have a hard time filling it up. One day and overnight is enough.

Well it's not really that bad, it's not like what it was portrayed as in Hostel for example (although....yes you can go playing with machine guns while drinking). It's more like Eurotrip's portrayal. It didn't get a reputation as europe's largest council estate for nothing. However, the people there are really friendly and very keen to get their city "on the map" in my experience. Bratislava got basically raped and pillaged by every empire from the Romans, Nazis, Communists, Austrians/Hungarians. Vienna on the other hand didn't and is only a 30 minute drive or 50-60 minute bus trip away.

Oh and, the women there are absolutely the most beautiful of any european country I've been to - no question.
