    In a word: No.
There are some galleries, museums and a few clubs with some decent (Non-Slovakian) jazz...That's about it.
You could be beat up by some skinheads in the evenings. That's always fun and interesting. :)

It's a nice country; it's just Bratislava is quite boring and tourism isn't big (Which can be a good thing if you're going to spend some time). See about getting a tour / train out of Bratislava for a day or two? How long are you going for? Who are you going with? Age? Interests? etc

Don't know about Bratislava, but it's an hour away from Vienna, which is lovely!

Its a lovely place but mainly during summer. Was there for the heat wave and it was very nice! The town is good but there aren't really many clubs. They're bars or restaurants instead but at the same time its a really good buzz. I wouldn't be expecting anything mad though and apparently they don't like the whole stag/hen party thing. All the places would be in the main bit of the town near the main sqaure & american embassy

thanks su_dios. We wont be going on a mad typical stag weekend as such, just 5 or 6 of us.

    Nice city

Had a great time, some decent pubs. Club scene was not as mad as I thought it would be.

Wouldnt go back but great weekend none the less

I know it's too late for the OP but I don't like the negativity of the thread, I had a fantastic time in Bratislava. No wild club scene but a really nice place and Devin Castle is certainly worth the 20 minute, 70c, bus ride to!

I have to post in defence of Bratislava. It's a very pleasant town indeed. It might possibly begin to pale after a couple of days, but there's plenty to do round about (try Nitra or Trnava, both close by). I would advise against popping over to Vienna: although it is close, it is also deadly dull, a very poor advert for otherwise-wonderful Austria. Look East instead, and do some exploring! I can't advise on the clubbing, in Slovakia or anywhere else, but I do advise a visitor to try some of the beers - Slovakia, together with the Czech Republic, is well able to brew beer, and it's cheap, too.

I realise this is of no use to the OP, but I hope it will convince some others not to bypass this lovely town.

Sorry When i was there I though it was a very nice city, lovely food and a few nice building s, pubs / clubs were good crack. Things are dirt cheap there also. Got a train to Vienna also for €8.50!

You really will be stretched for things to do in Bratislava, if you are there for a few days my advice would be to defo go to´Vienna for one day at least.

The pivo is nice in Bratislava though
