I think/know there is something wrong with me. Plain and simply I beat my wife's parents dogs sometimes. I think I have probably beat them about 4 times. I hit and kick them and I know they[the dogs] are defenseless to stop me. I don't know why I do this but when I do it I enjoy it.

I don't wanna feel this way. I don't wanna do it again but I know I might. It's a serious problem and I need some advice on what to do.

Your best bet would be to talk to a professional.

That is absolutely horrible.
Talk to a counsellor ASAP and stay far away from the dogs.

The above is the best advice your going to get here. Anyone who beats on the defenceless, be they animal or human, definately needs help.

By the way, just curious, but where are your wifes parents while your abusing their pets ?

If you're not a forum troll, then this sounds like a symptom of anger against your wifes parents, but you're taking it out on their dogs. Do you believe that your wifes parents think you're not good enough for their daughter?

If you're dealing with certain problems at the moment ( gambling, drugs, etc) then it's only natural that her parents are concerned. You can't fault them for that.

If you're looking after your wife well and she's happy, then don't mind the in-laws. Your wife should be defending you and dealing with her parents directly on that matter.

Giving the dogs a kick is something that has to stop though.
It's also one step closer to violence against people.
I recommend talking to a professional too, they'ld be discrete and anything said is between you and them.

Well you know that you have a problem, thats good at least. You now need to get it sorted. You take it out on the dogs because they are defenceless. If you don't get help and then have kids, what happens next...?

People who do very bad things often start with abusing animals.
It's not a huge leap to doing the same to a defenceless child.

If the OP is a troll, the fact that they chose to post such a thing (and presumably are amused by it) makes them quite a bit more ill than they probably think.
