    :(HELP:(:(:(:(:(

I stupidly deleted a folder from a shared drive on my home desktop PC.

My laptop & desktop are networked to each other & I deleted the folder on the desktop while on the laptop.

Is it as I fear and its gone forever???

And before anyone asks no I don't have back-ups (I know more stupidity)

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    The desktop is running XP

Did you delete it from the Windows Explorer My Network Places tree or was it an actual folder on the Desktop?

I usually go into the "my documents" folder on the desktop through "computer" (in vista) on the laptop, I have it mapped as a drive there so I accessed the folder like that
