Windows Installer not working?!?

I'm trying to install FM 08 on my laptop but, it's not working at all and I keep getting the following error message:Installer has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I've also had problems uninstalling software…

I'm guessing that from that error message that you are using Vista?

Give as much information as you can no matter how trivial you might think it is.

It will yield you much better responses.

Sorry for being vague, I'm using a laptop with Vista installed on it but, I think the disc might be faulty because I tried to install it on another computer but, it wouldn't work!
