    Hi there,

I'm doing some 7*5 printing and I want to put up a portrait from my trip last year. However can't really decide if either of these are worth framing (although I really do like them), and if so, what further post processing work I could do with them to make them really eyecatching!

    Any advice much appreciated!!

    Thanks!

If you like them, then frame them both. *glances around the room* currently I have 19 photographs in frames at the moment here. No need to limit.

just a suggestion on the village boy one - try a 'letterbox' crop across his face (above the eyes / above the chin) - but as others have said "frame away to your hearts content". if the image means something to you personally - invokes a memory, or whatever.

btw - scary marks on the neck of lee.jpg Must be a story in there somewhere.

    Cheers.

Definitely frame the photo with the boy.

    Thanks for all the replies!

Lee was a local girl we met in Sapa, North Vietnam. Those marks are from her pinching her skin around her neck - she had a sore throat and the locals think that bringing the blood to the surface will help with healing.

Although I like both the pictures, am not sure if they'll be striking enough to frame - okay I'm fussy! :D And I only have space for one more shot really on my cluttered walls!

I'll try that letterbox crop, might be interesting alright, thanks!
