    Hi all,

Just starting out again look for job in the IT world, it been awhile so I'm a little out of touch with the practices of work Agencies (well never had to use them much).

Anyway, one is asking about my current salary, pension etc..
Should I be telling him this stuff(their not always on your side) or just giving him a indication/range?

    Thanks
    pan

They just ask what salary and benefits you currently have to see if any potential employers are offering the same.

If your on €40k + other benefits they wont want to line you up for an
interview for a job offering €20k. They dont want to be sending uninterested canditates to interviews as it might reflect badly on thier selection process.

    Technically, yes.

But, and it's a big but, add on a couple of thousand. Don't price yourself out of a job, but do add on at least 3-5k, within reason.
