Anyone else noticed celeb websites confuse the person with characters they've played?

    This has been confusing me for a while.

    It seems a lot of the celeb websites such as egotastic and wwtdd confuse roles actors have played with reality...

    "Proof" I've seen for Wentworth Miller being gay is a camp character he played in some TV show a while back (and all the user comments agreed he is gay based on the "proof" from the TV show).

    Jake Gyllenhaal seems to have become gay after making Brokeback Mountain.

    It's kind of disturbing really... I thought only crazies confused actors roles with reality, but it seems to be very common.

    Has anyone else noticed this?
