Sliding / Folding Interior Doors

Hi everyone, didn't know whether to put this in DIY or Construction, so feel free to move it mods.

I'm looking for a recommendation for sliding or folding interior doors. They will be used for dividing a kitchen and sunroom and they need to be 'space saving'. I'm looking for doors that i can buy and fit myself rather than having someone fit them for me.
I have googled it but i'm looking for peoples own advice if they have bought this type of product.

    Cheers..

My parents had a carpenter install a set recently and he used a set of standard doors which he installed strong hinges on.
The setup has three doors in total, two doors which are hinged together and a third which is alone.

I'm starting to think that it would be a better option to do something like that.. I got a quote for €3,500 for a set of folding fupping doors:eek:

I'll keep that idea in mind Mr Fertiliser and i'll keep looking for other options..
    Cheers..

Just wondering if any of you had any luck sourcing a solution for the sliding doors. I've got the wall ready to connect the runners to it but no luck finding the right ones for a solid door. Carpenter hasn't seen them before so hasn't much advise.
Sliderobes concept are fixed sized runners for their own doors so you'd be paying approx 2.5K for a double door!
B&Q have runners for lighter doors or to make your own sliding wardrobe doors. in the meantime I will keep working my way through the Building suppliers around Limerick.

No unfortunately i didn't actually find a solution yet. I have tried a few of the big names but the prices were too much for me. I am hoping to talk to a local carpenter about making up something.

I fitted those recently(The B&Q ones as part of a walk in wardrobe) and you might be able to get 2 thicker doors on the rail for 3 slim ones.

Thanks kindly wait4me, do you think he does not operate anymore as his pics are exactly what I am looking for

I don't know :o. From what I remember, he was having a lot of work done to his house all of which looked great. I suspect that these were fitted for him. Now that you have a pic, I am sure that some carpenter somewhere could provide you with a similar set-up.
