seems to be a lot of interested people asking about an EPT qualifier

post enough names here and confirm you would play a sat if we organise it for tonite or tomorrow night

    my suggestion is a freeze-out, 200 / 300 entry
    30 min blinds
starting early if we do it on saturday afternoon, say 4 pm or 4:30 pm
at 200 you only need 40 players to make a seat
you could make it 200 with 100 top up option at 1 hour, but not rebuy of gone before the break
    a game with a twist
my next suggestion is a raffle
40 players put 200 into the pot and we draw straws / or 4 tables of 1 hand freezeout with 2 players going thru to round 2
round 2 is where 1 player must score 3 points or 3 wins to pick up the prize of a ticket
i'm up for any or all of it but i must be allowed to play, we can always get a TD

Do you mean a live game or on Mermaid?....

Looks like we're going to be running our Irish Open sats in Malahide, North Dublin, this year again folks (we're having a think about it anyway but I'm sure there will be enough interest for a weekly €150 freeze-out game with a cash option for the IO ticket???).....

Im allowing 15 rebuys and a top up . Bring 10k up to win a ticket .Makes sense it does :D

a mantra for the freezeout player in a rebuy tourney

i 1st heard this from mr smith, the legend, where's me tea cakes

"rebuys are for other people" " i will not bluff"
"rebuys are for other people" " i will not bluff"
"rebuys are for other people" " i will not bluff"
"rebuys are for other people" " i will not bluff"

over and over until the break, when the real tournament starts in earnest

the alternative is to keep going all in with any 2 cards until you hit a lucky hand and treble or quadruple up, then sit there until the break only playing the nuts

I'd be up for a 200/300 (or what ever buy in required) F.O..Saturday/Sunday would be fine....
