"USB device not recognised"

    Keep getting this message whenever i plug my mouse into any one of the USB ports on my computer...anyone know of anyway to get it working?

    I take it there are other USB ports that work ok? Are there any yellow exclamation marks beside any of the USB ports (under Control Panel->System)?

    You would most likely need to install the drivers for that particular mouse.

    Yeah other ports have been working fine

    i reckon its just a problem with my mouse, as i've borrowed another one which is working now

    the mouse i've had problems with is one i've being using for a few months, it just suddenly stopped working...must be busted!


    will just have to buy a new mouse
