Anyone know the name of this show?

    A few years ago (maybe 5 to 7) years ago network two aired a show late Friday or Saturday night. It was a tales of the expected type show that was introduced by a big muscly guy in a black t-shirt. The episode I remember best was about about a family that suddenly appear in the desert (the family look like something out of the Waltons). The family are behind some sort of barrier in some sort of bubble and are oblivious to the outside world. The army are called in to investigate. The guy in charge of the investigation falls for the family's daughter, one day when the army detect that the barrier is down, the guy in charge goes through and meets the girl. I think she then attacks and eats him. The show ends with the family waiting for the barrier to be down so that they can get out. There was an entirely different story every week. Does any one have any idea what this show was called?

    My girlfriend's brithday is coming up soon and I would love to get a copy of it for her as she loves that kind of stuff.

    Any help is appreciated.

    it kinda sounds like Outer Limits, but i don't remember a big muscly guy in a black t-shirt.

    If your girlfriend loves that type of show, maybe you should look into the Outer Limits regardless of it being the show you are looking for or not - its that kind of show - with a completely different story and charactors every week.

    Thanks for that Tauren. I don't think that the show I'm thinking of was the Outer Limits, its sounds like something herself might be interested in though so I will addit to the list!

    Just remembered another episode of the show I'm thinking of. I think it was set in the mind of a schizophreniac girl. I think a therapist helped the girl explore her different personalities...

    I believe the show is Night Visions. You have the episodes, A View Through The Window and Now He's Coming Up The Stairs, in mind. The muscly guy is Henry Rollins :p
