Spector celebrates the 30th anniversary of the renowned Spector NS style bass. The original contoured ergonomic bass was designed for Spector by award winning designer Ned Steinberger.
The now historic NS bass was the first Steinberger musical instrument design and was produced by Spector in the Brooklyn workshop starting in 1977.

This special very limited edition NS-230 anniversary bass features museum quality inlays on the neck of 5 different species of bass. The inlays were designed and cut by Larry Robinson, author of "The Art of Inlay". Larry's credits include the number 1,000,000th C.F. Martin guitar. Stuart Spector says, "As my hobby is fly fishing I wanted to have the chance to feature on this special bass some of the fish that I have had so much fun pursuing in my spare time."

These instruments will only be built to order and orders will only be accepted for one calendar year starting with its debut date of November 24, 2007. Customers will be able to choose from the finest pieces of Spector's stock of rare woods for building these instruments.

MSRP for the NS-230 bass is $15,000.
