I see the new ads on TV about their new camera - what do ye think is the TZ3 better than the FX100.

Deciding to buy one or the other.

    Appreciate any help

    Thanks

i have the LX2 myself and if thats anything to go by you should be very impressed with the lumix stuff., i had a play around with the TZ3 in a camera shop recently and it feels very solid, the screen is very nice too..,

i had a tz2 , the predecessor to the tz3 , and didn't like it , i thought it would be handy for out and about , but i found it way too light , and image quality IMO not great -- i traded it for FZ8 , and would reccomend that much more, it is cheaper too , more manual controls and sturdier , good bridge camera.

I had the older FZ7, it was pretty decent but also a little too light for my liking, I also have a D80 so i needed something smaller to so can be carried in my pocket and the LX2 was perfect for this,.,

    thanks for yer help

i'm torn between these too cameras - Fx100 and TZ3 - however am open to suggestions on others in this range

the TZ3 has a great zoom but i've read lots of reviews that state that its has problems with noise and focus

what do ye think of the FX 33 or 55 - very confused on which one to get

out of all the ones mentioned id defo have to TZ3, but ive onley used them in the shops with the exception of the LX1, LX2 and FZ7 but the TZ3 was the most impressive for me. They have huge optical zooms for the size of the cameras and the program mode works well and is easy to use,.,

I got a TZ3 last week. I need to really test it out yet but after messing about with it for a while I'm very impressed. Very user-friendly camera.
