new drive letter on external

ok so i plugged my external into a different usb port and it came up as drive k instead of I now itunes cant find the music etc etc big disaster i tried renaming it and plugging it back into the usb port it was always in but it stays as the k drive anyway to change it to the idrive permanently or do i have to reimport all…

Right click on my computer, select manage

Click on disk management

Find the drive that is now labelled as K.. change it to its previous one and say ok to any prompts..

that will sort it out
