What's a good spam filter for use with outlook and outlook express? People keep asking me but I use gmail so don't have that problem at all. Experiences?

The one I recommend to customers is a program called Spam Bully, from www.spambully.com , very good piece of software and pretty cheap too (€20 or $20 something like that).
Works in either Outlook or Outlook Express, adds a toolbar to either program to allow you to select any emails its "unsure" about as spam or not spam. Very user friendly too and pretty simple to setup.
    Highly recommend it.

Another approach would be to use Mailwasher Pro 6.

I like this especially if you use POP3 (Outlook or Outlook Express)

Unlike other solutions it nails the nasties on the server of your provider(s) so it never has to even reach your PC.

I've had great success with Spambully also. Another alternative that might work is Spambayes. Both use a Bayesian system to learn which emails to block as spam and I believe Spambully has a feature that allows you to report spammers to the owners of the IP addresses/servers which they're using to send out the annoying emails.
