New running store

    Runways on parnell street across from the entrance to the ilac centre will be opening very soon

    A badly needed shop for runners will sell all top brands

    I was in there on Monday as my mate works in the shop and was well impressed with the layout so if your in need of new running gear u know were to go!!

    what does very soon mean?
    My plan is to go to the Marathon expo in the RDS at the weekend to buy gear for the next couple of months?
    would you know if they plan any opening specials?

    I believe its open but has little/no stock and none of the promised features (gait analysis etc)

    Yeah was in there a couple of weeks ago. Nice guy but the shop is tiny the treadmill takes up most of the shop and they haven't got the physio in yet to do the gait analysis they have no real running shoes yet. The ones they have are only in full sizes:mad: I hope this changes. Ended up getting a pair of brooks adrenaline up in Arnotts.:cool:

    I heard there was a guy in Griffith avenue that was doing the Gait analysis and had a degree in sports science.

    Theres a running store in bray called amphibian king that does video gait analysis and sell all the top running brands. Found it very easy to get to from town, M50 and the second turn off into bray.

    I'd highly recommend it, I read about it in the Times health supplement for the marathon.

    I was in there today and they will be doing Gait Analysis from tommorow,
    using a system called dartfish...has anyone heard of this before?
    I think the manager runs for Clonliffe harriers and is a qualified massage therapist.
