    1 - the colour in the top portion is really nice - strong vivid colours, the depth of field is also nice, but the haze (sun?) in the lower portion of it kind of dilutes the colour and i don't know, but as a result it doesn't grab me. also i think you've picked up a bit of blow out around the guys head from the harsh lighting that you experienced (i know its sun - we shouldn't knock it in this country).

    2 - technically fine but perhaps the composition is lacking a definite focal point. there are probably many focal points, but the eye just bounces around the image not landing anywhere in particular.

    3 - i like a lot even though a little fill flash may have improved a little, i think the colours are great - warm and autumnal. Although as cabaal suggests the lighting does draw the viewer into the whole point of the image and away from the 'not so perfect' stuff in the top area.

    4 - the forth is..... well a bunch of people sitting around playing the drums and shot into the sun causing a lot of haze. em.... not for me anyway but perhaps there's a memory in there for you somewhere.

    another in your flickr stream i like is;

    some nice captures there.

    Cheers.

    what they said! 3rd one is very nice, the first and last are a bit hazy.

    The first is ruined a bit by the haze in the bottom right.

    The second could be improved using a different viewpoint of maybe isolating the groups of object.

    Really like the third shot especially the way the sun hits the containers a various points, not sure whether the hand pointing is a distraction or adds interest (matter of opinion really).

    The fourth shot is a bit ordinary maybe isolating the drums (hands drumming, that sort of thing or focusing the first three as a sperate group.

    Just had a look at your flickr link, some nice shots in there as well
