    hi i really need to fly to dublin from madrid on thursday returning on sunday but the tickets are about four hundred a pop.has anyone ever gone standby?is this reliable"?much appreicated

    Standby for members of the public is pretty much a thing of the past "post 9/11".

    if you "really need to", you could try going through London with Ryanair/easyjet type airlines
