hi there, im having problems connecting my computer to my tv.

i connected it up, and ts running, but the resoloution is poor.

its a 52" sony bravia. and my graphics card can support 1920 x 1200.

but it only allows me to set it to 1360 x 768.

any ideas on how i can change it to a bigger resoloution?

That's the drawback of using a television as a monitor. You are restricted to the natural resolution of the television in your case 1360 x 768 because it was designed to be a tv not a monitor.

Maybe your brothers TV is a "Full HD" set , which can handle a resolution up to 1920x1080.

Some others, while not "full HD" can handle 1080p but downscales to 768.
