    noticed yesterday that this channel is on the Irish EPG - so why this one and not the other ITV channels?

    ITV and Sky must have come to some arrangement.

    As for the other ITV's, it's more complicated. Particularly UTV and its programming conflict with TV3.

    Though don't think ITV3 would have much rights issues to worry about?

    i guess Sky pay the BBC to carry BBC1 and BBC2 as otherwise they would be at a serious competitive disadvantage to NTL/UPC. I'm sure they would do the same for UTV if they could reach some sort of agreement (but TV3 seem to be standing in the way).

    Presumably they think it not worth paying to carry the other ones when they can be tuned in manually anyway - doesn't explain CITV though, why not CBeebies as well?
