So I have wireless broadband and a N1 router, am looking to abolish the phone line. Only hang up is hardware, I want a phone that connects through the router directly.

The Philips VOIP8411B looks like a good one. Dont really want a skype phone but will accept that if it is the case. Definately has to be blueface compatible.

So, anyone reccomend a suitable phone for me to dump Eircom?

    Thanks.

Scoured limerick today, not even a whiff of something suitable.

    Tried:
Harvey Norman, Argos, Maplin, Dunnes, B&Q, and some other smaller shops.

    Heloooooooo!

I have to say the Siemens gigaset IP phones are fantastic. There's a few models that are a lot fancier than the 450IP that blueface sell.

They also give you the option of connecting an analogue landline should you want one.

Very easy to use, great sound quality and utterly reliable.

I like this one and whilst its one of the fancier models,it's cheaper than the c450 on blueface and at my local tesco.

Will it work with blueface though?
