In the dark, plugged a 19v adapter (Laptop charger) into it. (It takes 12v). Yes I know, stupid me.

Nothing was burnt out when I opened it up, and it didn't have that telltale smell.
Now it won't power on with the 12v adapter at all, but if I plug in the 19v (Which i decided to try after thinking "Well it's not dead so far"), it will power up, andbe recognised by windows as an external device (But won't actually be legible by the system).

    What do I do/Can I do? / What's going on?
It seems fine on the inside.
