    Bought a can of spray on White Lithium grease the other day.
    Just want to make sure its ok to use in gearboxes etc.
    ie. that it won't melt the gears or anything.

    You should be ok to use it on the gearbox but I wouldn't let it get anywhere near the barrel, mags or the slide of a GBB

    Just check the contents on the back, the propellnt may contain petroleum/distillates of it. If so steer clear, if not, you should be fine.

    Also, don't OD on the grease, too much and it'll just collect grime and guck and reduce performance.

    It contains petroleum distillates.
