This is out tomorrow in the States as far as I know.
Has anyone put an order in for it through videogamesplus or the like?

I was thinking it could be the only other ps3 game besides Uncharted worth getting before the end of the year.
Although UT looks like a possibility too.

gonna order it when i get some money...looks amazing but i will definately be getting pes 08 and assassins creed aswell..also may get guitar hero 3 if i get the money..

got the demo of the us psn, it was fun, but the camera was shoddy as hell and there was no option to invert the vertical axis which made targetting a nightmare for me

hopefully theyll sort those issues

I have it pre-ordered with VG+, they haven't sent it yet (it's processing).
Will be getting Uncharted probably, not getting UT on PS3 but PC.

I think I read somewhere that you'll be able to invert the vertical axis in the final game.

Gametrailers have given it a 9.0 overall. PSM3 gave it 93% in their last issue, IIRC. I thought the demo was top-class, and watching the gametrailers review makes me very excited for it. I'm tempted to put in an order with VG+ if the game will actually get delivered fairly quickly..?

Haze should be good an and UT has been delayed until next year.

I've read that the Haze previews at expos etc seemed to have a lot of issues. I'll wait to see what the final version is like. Kind of split on whether to get UT on the PS3 or PC. I got the PC demo last night but haven't played it yet. Isn't the PC version still due out this year?

I don't usually trust the reviews of dedicated system mags like PSM etc. I'll wait for some others to come in. I know the article in Edge seemed positive. While the game does look amazing, I've read that it isn't much of a leap from the older ones in terms of gameplay.

PSM has been pretty harsh in some of their reviews though. Gametrailers mentions your concern at the end, but on the other hand, as they say, it is also the best in a great series. Not every game has to reinvent the wheel.

A fair number of reviews popped up over night. It has an average ratio of 90% on gamerankings, over 15 reviews. IGN gave it 9.4, GameInformer 9.25, Gamespy 4/5 - the only real divergence from those kind of scores is Gamespot's 7.5. The new issue of Edge apparently has also given it a 8.

yeah as far as I know it is. It's supposed to be a timed exclusive on the PS3, so whether the delay makes that null and void I don't know. I think it's just increased the delay on the 360.

FYI my copy of Ratchet & Clank seems to have shipped, ordered from VG+ who are really quick in my experience, should have it within a week.

I ordered my copy last night through videgamesplus. It's currently "processing".

Read today on EuroGamer that there seems to be a problem with the hard drive install option.

Midway stated again (on eurogamer today) that the pc version is due 15 November. They don't want to screw their PC fans because of console issues.

Sorry, yeah, I worded it badly, I meant to say it's still coming out on PC but in terms of the console the PS3 was supposed to yadda yadda yadda

They said they are still hoping for the ps3 release before the end of the year but can't promise anything.

yeah but I wouldn't hold my breath though. It's almost Nov now, if we don't hear anything in the next couple of weeks I can't imagine them being able to get it out in time.
