just moved to the area ,semms hardly any games avaliable in the above areas can someone please give me details of card rooms in the areas as found a couple and there web site links dont work ,so cant get in touch with them ,also flicking through this site seems most of the satellites to ept /wpt etc all out of the area also ,please guys some equal spread around the country would be nice , sorry for the winge bit want to play and finding it very hard to get a game over this side of the country.

The Casino in Limerick has a nice game. Played there on a Wednesday night recently they had fifty players for a €50 freeze out and cash tables after. Nice place, well run and a good standard of player. Also played at the Cue club at there recent €200 game. My first time at that level, it was really well run and had plenty top players in attendance. There are several pubs games around if you want to give us a better idea of your location I might be able to point you to something.

Only place in Limerick these days is Fitzpatricks; afaik the new vic is gone.

Havent been there, but have heard some good things about it. There are a fair few pub tournaments, but depends on what type of game your looking for. Unless you want crapshoots, stay away!

thanks guys for your response, kfc was looking for the bigger games ,played a couple of pub games you might as well place russian roulette for example holding ak off suit flops aqj i push all in top pair k kicker huy sees me with 35 off suit why ??? then hit 3 on turn 5 on river ,as i said russian roulette.

Yea I play at a local pub every second week or so its just a social night out as closing time kills a pub venue. The Fitz holds a good game after that you have to travel but Cork and Killarney ain't that far away.

Russells is still going,thursday nights at 8pm.not sure who's running it now that Aaron is gone.i think it's still 25+5 with 1 rebuy or top up.

strange that no one from fitzpatricks bothers to post information about their tournaments on here.you think that they would want as many players as possible playing in them. maybe someone will soon

they did at one point but now that its up and running and getting good numbers they just couldn't be arsed.but the main reason is probably because it's all on their web page.

flash it just gives the buyin on there website. doesnt say anything about the blinds structure except that easch level is 20 mins. . how many runners would they normally get for their tournaments. does it vary alot depending on the night . thanks

haven't played in there much lately but i do know that the best nights to go in is wednesday=67 players last week,friday=40-50,last saturday only 10 and sundays about 25.not sure about the rest.

i dont know.i was talking to him last saturday and asked if he was still running russells when i heard it was still going but he just said no.i didn't push for reasons.

Our monthy deepstack game in the Cue Club is the 2nd Saturday of every month(next one is Sat Nov 10th at 4.00pm). €200 f/o, 10k chips, 45 min blinds all levels included.

If your looking for something decent this week-end, theres a €7500 gtd in the Glen Eagle Hotel Killarney at 4pm on Sunday. €55 in with 2x€50 rebuys and a top-up.70-80 players,dealer dealt. hope thats helpfull
