I got money from my parents and sister for my birthday a few weeks back. Finally spent it on Friday. I picked up a used set of MP 60 irons and a Ping G5 putter. God, the irons are sweet. Coming from cavity backs, I was prepared for a hard time on Saturday, but I was nailing the 3 iron off the deck. 9 iron and PW were really nice. Getting a lot closer to the pin that with the old clubs.
Putter was a different story. Heavier than my old one, so I pushed everything well past the hole on the first few. Found the pace on the back 9 and narrowly missed 2 15-20 footers on the last 2 greens.
Overall, well pleased.
