    Was just looking at this a few mins ago and there talking about gun crime in london and a shooting that left 4 injured and 1 dead. they were showing forensics people having found what looks to be some type of silver M9 airsoft pistol in its box., Obviously not the weapon used but kinda gives airsoft a bad image when its associated with such things,.,

    How exactly is Airsoft linked to the shooting of 5 people in London? How do you know it was an Airsoft pistol?

    They get a photo of a policeman walking along the street and when they're shooting it, it's for some nice article about haeloing old ladies across the road...

    A month later there's a massive corruption scandal and they use the same footage just to 'illustrate' the Police....

    Annoying to say the least

    Some producer gone "get me stock footage of a gun and make it a nice shiny silver gangsta piece" and they've gone to some old video...

    Meh. A plastic toy in a box on sky news is hardly something to get worried over.
    As JonAnderton said, it's just a bit of stock footage. It's annoying but there's nothing you can really do about it.

    On a related note, I really am considering a "OMFG!!! AIRSOFT IS DOOMED!!!" stickied thread for all these vaguely airsoft related media stories.
