    Hi,

I have an o2 broadband usb dongle attached to my pc providing broadband to it.

    Is there anyway of either

    (a) connecting the dongle into a wireless router so that I can pick up the signal on my Apple itouch and laptop elsewhere in house.

    (b) any other configuration whereby I can use a wireless router with my 02 wireless broadband.

    thanks for the help

    Yep but they aint cheap...

It has a USB port that you can plug the 3G dongle into and then transmit wirelessly.

If you have a computer with a lan card and a normal wireless router is it possible to plug the usb dongle into the pc and connect to the wireless router using an ethernet cable and than share the 3G connection across the wireless? Basically treating the computer as a gateway?

    Hi All,
Can anybody advise on how to do this....I cannot seem to find the settings for O2 that I need to enter into my router set up in order for it to transmit the broadband. My laptop can see my computer when the router is turned on but it cannot get the internet via wireless. The system was set up when I was on eircom broadband which I found easy to set up as I easily found the info I needed but I cannot find it for the O2 connection.
Any advise would be great :)
    Marie

Not sure if this would work or not but maybe Internet Connection Sharing will do what you want. Try reading this
