    Hello,

    i got a 60gb ps3 over the weekend.

i have no option for DSL broadband it seems, so phone line is out.

Is there any decent affordable alternative option that works well with a ps3?

probably best in the broadband forum but any of the wireless providers should be ok.

it's all hit and miss, where you live etc maybe try get a trial of IBB or Digiweb or whoever's doing wireless these days

thank i'd like a PS3 owners opinion though for the following..

i cannot get O2 as they don't cover my area.
    i hear three is crap.

Vodafone cover my area but they have a 5gig only dowload limit.

is this useless for a PS3 online ?

I was having a look this morning and demos are from 680Mb+, so 5 Gb won't get you far.

thanks for that, but what about for just playing online? does this use much?

i could live with just getting a couple of demos. 5gb is crap in fairness and a 2c per mb charge is just terrible.

I only got mine yesterday and haven't gone online playing yet. Too blown away by the quality of the display at the moment.

Eh if you are needing broadband then it really does depend on what area you live in?

After that i wouldnt go for Vodafone/O2/3 as their charges will hit your pocket hard.

You need the likes of (which was said already) Digiweb/NTL/BT etc

The PS3 comes into its own online....
I just got Warhawk at the weekend and its immense WOW
