    Hi Guys,

Where would be the best place to look for the above.
    Looking for a D28, D35, D41 or D45 from preferably late 60s early 70s.

I don't want a new one. I know perfect pitch in town is a trader for martins but they rarely have second hand ones.

    Thanks

    Thanks for that.

I prefer to buy one in Ireland, don't want to ship one from abroad.
you're right, what I'm looking for ain't cheap. Have a budget up to 7k.
Unfortunately an O size won't do me. Looking for a resonating bass, somelike the D35 gives.

Well if i was in your shoes with that sort of a budget i'd be shopping across the pond. Martins are fabulous guitars. Bought a CEO-4 years ago in Boston and would never sell it. Beautiful sound.

They are nice all right, especially the older ones. I'm not mad the recent D1s D15s etc. The 60s and 70s D series though are unreal.

I had a lowden previously which was nice, but not in the same league as the old Martins when it comes to sound.
I'll keep looking around, may be in NYC in December so will definetely have a look there.

I know what you mean. I spent a whole morning playing a vintage D45 over there...Couldn't put it down. The sound was something special.
Anyways good luck with your hunt...
Keep an eye on the buy and sell also...have seen Martins come up fairly often and vintage ones too.
