Early bird tournys?

    Don't know where this should be in here or main poker forum....move if necess.

    Improvements for Poker for the weary 'week night' player.

    A lot of people who play in Casinos find it difficult to play during the week due to work early next morning.
    Final tables = no sleep = work fatigue = potential eventual health issues and work problems. (I guess)

    So with this in mind I suggest to Casino owners that they try the following.

    1. Have an 'early bird' tourny once a week starting at 7.00 PM.
    2. Have an 'early bird' league based off this tourny with a prize for the top 3 at Christmas. (make it tasty...not a turkey)

    Start it at 7.PM on the DOT... or whenever you get a full table of 10. Worth a try?

    Agreed, whenever we're getting new flyers done up Ill be pushing for a 30FO on a monday and a 100FO on a wednesday both starting at 7.

    great ideas!

    I played live for the first time in ages in CHLs on Thursday, good laugh, good structure but in a way I was thankful I was knocked out early. Went out about 14th, at 11.30, with loads of play left.

    When I play live I'm caught between wanting to go deep, and needing sleep before work. If there were 7pm tournies that had good structures, I'd play at least 1-2 a week.
