What to be for Halloween?

Before I go pinching ideas from the "what are you being for Halloween?" thread, does anyone have any ideas for a good, simple halloween costume? I'm actually going out the night before haloween but it's a dress up thing and I refuse to ake part in the "who can look the sluttiest?" competition. I know there's be loads of fairies and angels and devils and cats and...oh god...bunnies but i'd like something different, a little original and while not skimpy, nothing too warm either as i'll be roasting on the dancefloor!

A ghost. White sheet + eye and mouth holes ftw.

Or you could be the invisible type of ghost and just not show up. :)

Reverse the "Vicar and Tarts" thing and go as the vicar ... persuade a friend to go as the tart, doesn't really matter what gender, either way ye can have a bit of fun with it! :D

I was actually considering being Alice in Wonderland but a dress for that would be very hard to find, also a girl in my year who'll be going out to the same place as us is also being Alice I think...

You could be American McGee's Alice in Wonderland - she has brown hair and she's scary!
