Dialers: Do they work for Irish subscriptions?

I am an expatriate living abroad with a subscription to Sky Ireland.

Does anyone know whether the various Sky phone diallers that are sold for UK expatriates (e.g. http://storesatellite.com/skydialer.php) will work for SkY Ireland?

These dialers are supposed to give Sky the impression that the phone call is being placed locally and allow ordering of Sky Box Office etc. I also wonder whether they would facilitate box - card matching?

    Thanks for the feedback.

No 'fraid not' so far they have'nt made a 'dialer' that can recognise the irish sky prefix i.e. '18' the UK cards prefix with ''08'. The dialer box recognises the 08 and dials the UK using '00 44' + the sky service you require.

Card matching will work fine without a phone line ... my sky box has never even seen a phone line and works away fine....
