    Do NUIG get a mid-term in October? Can't find any info on it, NUIM do so thought it might be the same but don't think it is!

    isn't medicine slightly different in scheduling? mates doing that always seemed to have exams at weird times.

    A midterm would be so great and is much needed (by me anyway!!). The school I'm teaching in gets a midterm (obviously) but I still have to wait around all day waiting for my lectures to start. At least I'll get to catch up on some sleep!!

    To be honest, do we not get enough time off as it it?? It pains me to say that!! But it's probably true.

    The OP meant mid-term exams. Not mid-term holidays.

    The Dazzler: Some subjects have mid-term class exams. Guess it depends more on the lecturer really.

    From my reading of the opening post I would have thought he/she meant midterm break, not exams.....but this is not a comprehension exam!!
