Best supported Wireless card for Linux?

Hi all. For years now I've gone out of my way to buy wireless cards which have a driver in linux. Currently on a Linksys PCI g card using rt2500 chipset.

I installed Ubuntu 7.10 to find it finally has GUI support for configuring WPA as well as the long standing WEP. But seems the driver for the rt2500 doesn't support the commands it uses. I'm kinda fed up hacking my interface file to get my wireless working so I'd just prefer to get a fully supported card.

Question is, what is the best supported wireless card out there? Are there any 802.11n cards out there?

You're likely to have best experience with Intel wireless cards. A quick web search will verify this however -- can't just rely on the brand.
