rake calculation

i am playing on prima at the moment and when i compare their rake calculations to poker trackers, pt says i've paid approx 15-20% more, are they scamming me or is it a glitch in the matrix?

pt rake is not the rake that rakeback is based on..

my understanding of it is like this... the pt rake is the rake yo actually pay at the table... the rake that your rakeback is calculated is MGR (monthly generated rake) which is the rake generated at your tables... your given MGR for every hand you play whether you actually put money int he pot or not......

so your MGR is higher than your PT rake but you get paid less? yeah? because you get paid on the net MGR after the network gets it's cut... ie you get yor rake back on the money the skin actually gets after network is paid...

my understanding of it but feel free to correct me anyone

thanks that makes sense alright, although it still seems like a rip off, im not actually getting a % of my rake back but of the table as a whole, so in theory you'd be better off playing no hands at all and just get a % of everyone elses rake!

yeah and loads of them doing it...... loads of nits on i-poker playing 12/6 on loads of tables just collecting bouses/rakeback

Not sure what method MG uses for rakeback, but if you want your MGR from PT goto the Game Notes tab and get all the hands. Total MGR will be on the bottom.
